I listened to the Harmon Kardon Soundsticks for years and was happy with the crisp, clean healthy and good bass. However, it lacked midrange and didn’t receive much of a soundstage. A few weeks ago, I upgraded to Axiom Audiobytes which blew my Soundsticks decease with a rich intelligent and expansive soundstage. I’ve received the Logitech’s to brushup and experience done a channelise A-B-C comparison of completely three 2.1 systems.
Overall, the Logitech’s muckle up identical substantially with the Audiobytes which cost significantly more at $530. The Logitech soundstage is very good, but not ridiculously expansive like the Audiobytes. The Logitech’s musical quality is excellent although slimly harsher than the silky smooth Logitech Z623 Audiobytes. Part clarity is peachy on both systems. Both do a good job with high, mid, and low orbit frequencies. The subwoofers are like in that they complement rather than handshaking the walls. Evening though the Audiobytes healthy8 better, any differences between the 2 systems are subtle, and I honestly wouldn’t lose much switching to the Logitech’s. In short, I am extremely printed with the Logitech’s and would exist felicitous applying them permanently.
Direct comparison to the Soundsticks reveals Logitech as understandably superior. The Soundsticks but levelheaded small compared to the Logitech’s. The strength of the Soundsticks is high-end clarity and this is matched by the Logitech’s. Frequency residue is significantly improve with the Logitech’s because the Soundsticks miss midrange. The Soundsticks’ sub is a short more boomy than the Logitech only both shape well. Since both speaker sets price the same, the Logitech’s are the obvious choice.

Just had this and am extremely pleased. In the past, I had bought $1000+ in-dash nav systems for my cars. I’ve always been a fan of Pioneer’s UI thence when I seen almost the iPhone/Pandora/MotionX GPS functionality I was forthwith sold. Why drop an extra $500+ on a nav equipped unit when your smartphone already has it built in? You motivation to charge your telephone while in the machine anyway. In addition, I really detect it much easier to input what I’m looking for on my phone thence it’s a win/win altogether around
The othe reviewer stated his frustration with the miss of bluetooth. Does he knows there are othe units with this built in? Either way, I feel it’s a waste. Unless you’ve got a luxury automobile with cracking levelheaded insulation, nobody’s moving to discover you. I’ve had1 2 other pioneer BT equipped units (on a Mazda and Honda) and never utilised it. Perpetually reverted to the headset instead. I supposed it would be nice to see this info on the screen… then again, that’s not actually a deal-breaker to me. Also, BT audio is pointless (when you get an ipod cable) since Pioneer AVH-P4300DVD the quality isn’t quite equally good so… again, BT simply isn’t necessary.
Last only not least… My alone knock on this unit is the lack of a physical knob. JVC makes some similar units merely whole of them receive the USB jacklight on the front. This is a deal-breaker for me and should be for you too. Trust me when I say… you do not desire to plug your cable into the front. It’s relatively ok for an aux cable since those aren’t meant to remain in permanently. iPhone cables, on the other hand, are. Exist certainly to have one with a USB jacklight on the back.
