I’ve had this drill about a month and such as it. I upgraded from an old 9v makita and it’s a huge upgrade.
Most of the drills in this price row are high quality tools and the makita’s got all the torque, speed, control of a good quality cordless. What i such as about this drill is the lithium-ion battery. not only is lithium-ion a greater environmentally friendly battery than nimh or nicad but they hold their power longer. This means the person who use a drill rhythmically (opposed to a every day use contractor type) will find their drill still charged and ready to use after sitting in the closet for 2 weeks. And, the batteries truly act appoint as fast as they speak they act.
I also concur with others who wound up liking the narrow led easy that points position of what you’re doing. Makita BDF452HW seemed silly position of first but in spite of you’re under a branch or in the back of a cabinet there’s no need to drag a easy with you, which is nice.
